HLTAID011 Provide First Aid Course

HLTAID011 Provide First Aid is the most recent release of the accredited Provide First Aid course. It supersedes the old HLTAID003 Provide first aid course and is the first aid training course your employer will likely be referring to when they ask if you have your first aid certificate.

HLTAID011 Provide First Aid is one of the most common workplace first aid courses in Australia and is recognised in all states and territories. This first aid course teaches both the theory behind and the practical application of first aid skills pertaining to over 2 dozen of the most common first aid conditions and illnesses.

Once you have completed this comprehensive first aid course you will be proficient in national first aid. 

You will learn how to identify signs and symptoms and provide first aid assistance in line with Australian Resuscitation Council , ARC guidelines and other relevant Australian national peak clinical bodies like Safe Work Australia, the National Asthma Council, the Epilepsy Foundation and Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy, ASCIA.

Course material also includes using a defibrillator, AED and asthma first aid training.

Previously been known as the following first aid courses Apply First Aid, Senior First Aid, Level 2 Workplace First Aid and HLTAID003.

No Online Workbook or E-learning Required

With our 5.5hr face-to-face first aid training and assessment in class, all knowledge and practical training and assessment are completed in-class and under the guidance and supervision of a highly experienced, qualified and accredited first aid trainer who is on hand to provide you with all the support and assistance you need.

Prior to attending the first aid training, we have a mandatory reading of the first aid learner guide. The hours required to complete both depends on the learner’s knowledge, experience, and skill.
